📢 NOTICE OF NOMINATION DAY
Town Municipal Elections – October 2, 2025
Nomination Day for the upcoming municipal elections will be held on:
🗓 Date: Monday, September 8, 2025
🕗 Time: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Town Office
Nomination Process
- All nominations must be submitted in person during the stated hours.
- A non-refundable nomination fee of $10 must be deposited with the Returning Officer at the time of nomination.
- Nominations must be in writing, stating the name and address of the candidate.
- Each nomination must be:
- Signed by a proposer and a seconder, both of whom must be present in person at the time of submission.
- Signed by the candidate, who must also be present to signify acceptance of the nomination.
Candidate Qualifications
Please refer to the attached notice for detailed information regarding candidate eligibility and qualification requirements.

Garbage & Recycling Collection
The office has been notified by Central Waste that we are not compliant with the rules for garbage collection. We will put information in the mail for sorting instructions.
The staff have been advised that they are no longer able to pick up any garbage that isn't compliant. They will place a sticker on the bag to advise the issue.
